  2012
 •  Mountain Valley Express New Processing Charge
Starting May 9, 2012 any Credit Card, Debit Card or any method of payment other than by Cash, Check or Wire Transfer shall incur a 4% Processing Charge. If you would like information on wiring your payments, it can be emailed to you upon request, there is no charge for wiring us a payment.
 •  Mountain Valley Express adds a Notification Fee
Effective June 1, 2012 Mountain Valley Express will implement a Notification Fee. The fee will be $25.00 per notification request. For further information please review Item 647 in our MTVL 300 Rules Tariff.
 •  Clean Air Compliance
Due to the California Clean Air Resources Board [CARB] regulations, Mountain Valley Express needs to increase our Clean Air Compliance Fee to $2.95 per shipment effective July 1, 2012. For further information please review Item 647 in our MTVL 300 Rules Tariff.
 •  Fixed Fuel Surcharge Fee
Any pallet rate with a fixed FSC will be increased to a flat 20% FSC effective June 1, 2012.
 •  Announcing Guaranteed Service
Effective March 1, 2012 Mountain Valley Express announces Guaranteed Service.
 •  Additions to our Fleet
Mountain Valley Express is proud to announce the arrival of ten 2013 T660 Kenworth tractors. The addition of these new tractors are part of our ongoing commitment to MVE's sustainability strategy going forward. These new tractors will be deployed throughout our terminal system in California and Nevada.
 •  New CTA President
Congratulations to our very own Scott Blevins as he steps into his role as CTA's (California Trucking Association) President for the 2012 year! Scott is traveling this coming week to CTA's Annual Management Conference in La Quinta, California where his inauguration will take place on Tuesday, January 24th. Scott, we wish you well and support you in all you do and have no doubt you will do an outstanding job!!

 •  Weight/Measure and Inspection Program
Effective October 1, 2011 Mountain Valley Express will begin a Weight, Measure and Inspection program designed to correct underweight and dimensional issues. Please refer to the Mountain Valley Express Rules Tariff 300 Item 994 for further details.
 •  Mine Site, Construction Site, Limited Access Charges
Effective October 1, 2011 Mountain Valley Express will charge for mine site, construction site and limited access operations. Please refer to the Mountain Valley Express Rules Tariff 300 Item 760 for further details.

Effective March 14th 2011, all pricing moving under the Mountain Valley Express rate base will be increased 5.5%. This increase will not affect pallet rates, foreign rate base tariffs, or specific contract agreements. Effective March 14th 2011 Mountain Valley Express will be implementing an emergency fuel surcharge on all existing pallet rates.
